Danbri Farm, established in 1996, is a family-owned Kaipara beef farm committed to natural, ethical, and sustainable farming practices. Unlike modern industrial farming, which often relies on manufactured fertilisers and growth agents at the expense of land, livestock, and people, Danbri Farm employs a more caring approach to farm stewardship. This includes using multi-crop pastures, native bush, and productive food forests to nourish the soil and animals.

The branding strategy aimed to establish Danbri Farm's connection to New Zealand's farming heritage while clearly positioning them as a regenerative family farm. Instead of using typical livestock motifs, the brand focused on the family's dogs, considered the lifeblood of the farm.

Our design solution married traditional heritage elements with a modern design sensibility, referencing rather than recreating designs of yesteryear. There is a nostalgic dimension to the brand, in that it evokes ideas of a simpler world. The brand mirrors the on-farm practices that draw on the way farming used to be done in ‘the good old days’.
