The role of a lone bee within the hive is to journey out into the unknown in search of nectar for the colony. The design visually depicts the bee’s journey, the dangers faced and its encounters along the way. But it is also a metaphor for our own client’s mission - the hurdles and risks he took on his journey to creating the very best sparkling mead (and getting the product to market).
A start-up business, bringing a single SKU, new category offering to market allowed us to create an unconventional pack construct. We rejected all beer and cider category norms, allowing Lone Bee to attract immediate interest.
