Happy Hour is a combination of Mama’s Brew Shop Kombucha, Victor Gin and a dash of Aperitivo. We were tasked to create a brand and pack for this small batch, botanical kombucha cocktail in a 250ml can, and take the ‘hippy to the city’ with this sophisticated mix of ingredients that create a sublime tasting cocktail.
The pack needed to entice health-conscious consumers to think differently about a pre-mixed drink. Despite the canned format, this is an artisanal, hand crafted and premium product. A direct design approach was essential to cut through on-shelf noise in the ready to drink market. Contrasting typography styles reinforce the different personalities of the collab partners. This was an exercise in restraint, stripping back and allowing the product to breathe and deliver its messaging in a quietly confident, discernible manner.
